Level Financial Technology has announced a partnership with workforce management software provider Rotageek to offer a suite of financial health services to shift workers.
As the lockdown measures continue to ease, thousands of employees furloughed or out of work as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic will be returning to retail, leisure and hospitality venues.
Stephen Holliday, CEO at Level, believes now is the time for employers to put more measures in place to help staff with their financial wellbeing. “The pandemic disproportionately hit shift workers,” he said. “With the economy continuing to unlock, employers must look at how they can support their staff not only to overcome hardship, but to meet their goals as well.
“Staff working in the retail, leisure, and hospitality industry, in particular, have faced unprecedented difficulty over the last 12 months. With the rise of the gig economy as well, we want to make sure this growing proportion of the workforce feels empowered to make positive behavioural changes to improve their financial situation.”
This seamless integration will allow enterprise organisations scheduling their teams in the Rotageek platform the ability to offer shift workers access to a portion of their pay in near real-time once the shift has been worked (and the money earned), without having to wait weeks until the next pay day to access it.
Alongside this, Level provides employees with a comprehensive range of tools to help staff better manage their finances. This includes salary-linked financial products alongside a range of educational tools and resources, empowering users to establish new financial habits.
Rotageek supports major employers including Pret A Manger, Lush, Pets at Home and the NHS, helping them to predict and meet demand by using data-driven technology to effectively and fairly schedule staff.
