Level, the fintech firm empowering workers to instantly access, save and budget from their earned pay, has closed 2021 by partnering with a host of new brands across the gig economy and haulage, call centre, education and legal sectors to bring a financial health and wellbeing solution to thousands of staff across the UK.
This includes FTSE 250-listed Capita, global law firm Dentons, and leading UK transport and logistics company Walkers Transport.
Stephen Holliday, founder, and CEO of Level, commented: “It is great to see businesses from so many sectors take positive steps to improve the financial health of their workforce. The Covid-19 pandemic has continued to put many industries under pressure, so the ability to support staff to take positive steps to improve their personal finances can only be a benefit.”
Firms across a range of different industries are requiring an agile solution to help fill shifts, recruit quicker and retain staff.
Holliday added: “It has never been more important to close the gap between work and pay, which is crucial to help businesses remain competitive in the jobs market while helping staff to better manage their money.”
Alongside the brands signing up to the Level platform, Stephen and the senior team have also signed landmark partnerships with the likes of Rotageek, allowing shift workers to access a portion of their earned wages in near real-time once a shift has been worked. This reduces the risk of them coming under financial strain as workers do not have to wait weeks until their next pay day.
The haulage industry is one sector that has seen huge disruption this year, attributed to a shortage of drivers that has highlighted the need to create financial packages that are attractive to current and potential employees.
Commenting on its partnership with Level, Jason Scott, Group Managing Director at Walkers Transport, said: “Partnering with Level means our workforce has access to a wide range of tools. With our industry in the spotlight like never before, it is important that workers understand and recognise the value we place in them.”
